Canoe wood, is an exotic hardwood species  its durability is in excess of 33% to the hardness of Red Oak, with a ranking of 2100 on the Janka Scale. Canoe Wood is an extraordinary hardwood that is warmly toned, stable, and vastly durable. Its heartwood, similar to Mahogany, varies from light golden hues, to russet and auburn tones. Its sapwood is not extremely distinguished. The overall shades are quite compatible and harmonize beautifully. This ease makes it especially versatile and capable of blending in seamlessly with any décor.

Its grain is straight, occasionally interlocked and irregular. Additionally, Canoe Wood has a texture that is fine to medium. With its tremendous resilience and warm brilliance Canoe wood is capable of many applications for both interior projects and exterior decking.
